Welcome to UNBUILD walls

“Those who build walls are their own prisoners. I’m going to fulfill my proper function in the social organism. I’m going to go and unbuild walls.” – Ursula K. Le Guin, The Dispossessed

Welcome to UNBUILD walls, a journal dedicated to publishing speculative literary fiction from LGBTQIA+ writers, people of colour, and any voice that wants to tear down the walls of oppression.

When we began this venture in 2015, we didn’t know that the figurative walls in our society would threaten to become literal ones. We need art now more than ever. It is an uproar, a mission, a protest.

Don’t let them fool you. Don’t let them silence you. Use your beautiful voice.

We are listening.
